How to Donate

The archive you see is meant to be a community project. A scavenger hunt across the globe to capture condiment packets from places far and wide. And a huge thank you to those of you who have already donated and helped grow this collection. I have thousands of packets in the collection proper, so the packets you see on this website are not a comprehensive look at what the inventory may be. That said, if you happen upon one that you do not see here, the collection would benefit from such a donation and it would be genuinely appreciated! I'll gladly reimburse shipping costs! Please use the Contact Page to reach out!

Submission Guidelines:

  1. If at all possible, send multiples of the same packet. This ensures that the archive has a few failsafes and iterations to document.

  2. You do not need to remove sauce before sending a packet. In fact, I enjoy the process of preparing the packets, and would prefer to perform this personally.

  3. Protection. Full packets sent in a standard envelope are likely to burst; a padded envelope with the packets in a plastic bag, and sandwiched between pieces of cardboard works much better. For an optimal donation form factor, a plastic bag of packets, contained within a small box and padded with newspaper has never once failed.

  4. If you must remove the sauce, please use the Packet Preparation tab for the method used by condiment packet archivists.

  5. Please see the "Rewards" tab to see how your donation can be recognized in addition to reimbursed shipping costs

Packet Preparation

If you must remove the sauce, please use a sharp blade or razor knife to make an incision along one of the shorter seams on the back of the packet. You can rinse the inside by holding the packet open under a faucet. I use hot water and a dab of soap. Once dry, the packets weigh almost nothing, and can be safely flattened.

Rewards

In addition to reimbursing shipping cost, a token of appreciation is in order! Every donation received will be rewarded with your choice of a Condiment Packet Gallery pin, or a Heinz Pickle pin!
