Sorry for the brief hiatus last week, I was on vacation! Several packets from that trip, but in the interest of variety, enjoy some soy sauces from the backlog!

I realized I haven't uploaded any vinegars or oils in many months. I had an amazing donation recently that adds a lot from Chile and Canada (thanks María!). It's the donations that really take this collection to the next level.

Adding a few hot sauces to the gallery this week, that sauce type respresents a big backlog that I have that I need to start dwindling and cataloging in the database. Enjoy!

A big milestone for the collection today: 2000 packets uploaded! Not only that, but exactly 100 Heinz ketchups. This has been an amazing journey, but we're not even halfway. A slow, steady drip every week. Thank you for all your support!

Some mayonnaises from around the world this week. Quite old, too. I'm finally rounding the corner on emptying the backlog now so we're close!

Another week, another batch of ketchups. Nothing too crazy, just working through the massive backlog of this iconic sauce.

Time to get dressed! A few "new" dressings, but they actually older from the backlog, they just take extra attention to clean since they're mostly oil based. It's a labor of love.

This week, some mustards from afar! It's always a little more complicated to update the database with these as I want to translate and document correctly. Check my work!

Some thiccbois this week, but mainly as a test for an update to the Asian sauces, further splitting 'chili sauce' from a general 'Asian' database.

Some sweetness this week with a variety of honies. Some subtle variations that are captured with this update, note the "pure clover honey" vs "pure honey" from the Chick Fil A offering.

Some new Asian sauces to test out some calibration on the backend. I previously had all sauces listed in one database, but broke it out to have soy sauce as its own database since that's the heavy hitter in that category.

It's hot out, let's celebrate with some sauces to mirror the temperatures. Hot sauce packets tend to be really design heavy and colorful, they're really beautiful to look at when looked at in totality.

All Heinz, all ketchups. Decided to go through my backlog of ketchups and saw I had a dozen or so Heinz ketchups, so why not do a huge airdrop from the king of condiments?

It's been awhile since I've posted some mayos, so feast your eyes on a dozen or so! The collection is getting more and more tubes of mayo versus packets: a sign of the times.

After an extremely generous donation, I'm proud to present the 2009 Heinz Creativity Contest winners! Heinz invited students K-12 to compete for a chance to be featured on ketchup packets that year. An amazing addition to the collection!

Add some tang to this week with a bulk mustard dump. A good variety added as we inch closer to that 2k packet benchmark.

It's Cinco de Mayo again, time for our annual SOTC (State of the Collection) roundup.

Going through some international packets this week trying to clean out some of those packets since they've been sitting for some time now. I can't risk these precious packets being ruined by laziness!

I always like to post entirely new packets, but this week there's some minor updates to some that were already in the collection. Remember, small variations count! Even if they are anticlimactic.

I noticed it's been quite some time since I've uploaded some cocktail sauces, so enjoy a few additions along with some odds and ends tartar sauces to round out the whole seafood section.

Spring has sprung, and it feels like it! Enjoy some honey packets, some unique and tasty ones like the cinnamon infused tall boy packet!

Happy St Patrick's Day! I can't believe I've gone this long without including Burger King's St. Paddy's Sauce from 2012. I've finally rectified that along with a ton of other random green packets.

A bunch of mayos this week, and a problem solved. "Mayochup" has had me considering where I wanted it to land (and how to tweak the javascript to display it that way). Ultimately it will display in Ketchup, Mayo, Misc, and Dual. Please enjoy!

I noticed I haven't updated some of the core sauce types (ketchup, mustard, mayo) in quite a few months. Time to rectify that. Have a look at some of the interesting varieties of mustards from the backlong.

Some BBQ and horseradish sauces to curb your cravings. And a few brown sauces to expand your horizons. Odds and ends, but all equally valuable to the collection.

I like to try to post a pair of a jam and a jelly variant from the same provider. They're mostly found in a twin offering like that. It's making me rethink how I'd like to display these on the Jam & Jelly page. We'll see what I can come up with!

Sour and acidic, pucker up for some lemon juice this week. These are getting rarer and rarer, I don't see too many varieties, so enjoy them while they last.

I've toiled with categorizing. Am I a lumper or a splitter? With mint sauce, I didn't know where to put these. I settled on labeling them separately but showcasing them within Relish (as with chopped onions). Soon I'll make its own page to see them separately, accessible in the More tab.

A few vinegars and oils this week. Oils are particulary rough on the screenprinting on the packets, a good reminder to empty and dry them as soon as I get them!

With a cold snap on the horizon this week, let's heat up a bit with some hot sauce! Bottles on bottles on bottles of it. In other news, I've updated the About Page with a new tab to showcase other oddball collections people have amassed.

A salty offering this week with a bunch of soy sauces and other Asian condiments. The variety in color of these packets is beautiful, be sure to check out the Asian Sauces to see the full majesty of it.

Happy New Year! As we have an impending polar vortex threatening, a nice cool blue motif for this week. Some mayos from near and far. And a small milestone, we've surpassed 1700 packets in the cataloged collection!

As the year comes to a close, I'd like to add to the collection a few more of the quintessential packets: ketchup. Some from here, some from far away. Ketchups are the most sentimental to the hobby for me. See you all next year!

Next week will be red and green, so let's splash some alternate coloration this week. It's basically autumn here in Texas so enjoy some fall leaf color mustards to hold you over until Christmas.

Enjoy some relish, not of the cranberry variety, but delicious nonetheless. As we round the holidays this time of year, look forward to more red and green packets coming your way.

Some ingredients for your Thanksgiving dinner! While these aren't exactly condiments, they're packets, and they're seasonably appropriate, so don't think too hard about it. Give thanks!

US meets UK this week with some BBQ and brown sauce. Some interesting varieties because they're not as ubiquitous as something like ketchup or mustard. Enjoy the tang!

Going through some older packets and decided to showcase some of the paper packets. They hold up surprisingly well to cleaning, you'd think they might disintegrate but a waxy coating inside helps preserve them well.

Cleaning up some of the old packets that never got properly emptied. Horseradish sauce gets pretty gnarly, I assume because it's egg based. Pretty gross.

Spooky update! Happy Halloween everyone! Here in Texas, it's still stupid hot out, so enjoy some festive orange and black hot sauce packets.

Updating some Asian sauces this week. It's quite difficult to cross check some of the brands because the differences between design changes are so slight. Hopefully I have no duplicates!

Some oil and vinegar for your consideration. Slowly trying to round out some more of the lesser obvious condiment sections of the gallery.

Enjoy some bee vomit! Of note this week, you'll see that House Recipe reconsidered what to market their honey as, either 'pure honey' or 'clover honey'.

You know what? It's still hot out. Have some more hot sauce packets in resonance. A good week for it too, Taco Bell released their Disha Hot collab packet. It's DELICIOUS, reminds me of the old Fire Roasted but with some extra heat.

As summer wanes, a few final hot sauces to sneak us into cooler weather. Of notes this week is the Black Mala Chilli Sauce from Tokyo Disney. It was as delicious as it is beautiful.

A few mayos from the backlog just to get a few more on the books. I've got plenty to clean out, but mayo takes extra care because of the oil content. Such is the life of packet collection.

Something must be in the zeitgeist, I've been coming across a lot of vintage packets lately. Through eBay, Etsy, and donations, the collection is bolstered. I was even lucky enough to find a variation on the Disneyland catsup I posted a few weeks ago. It's been a wild time!

A lot of emptying, a lot of sorting, a lot of documenting. I've earned this labor day! I went ahead and updated the sorting of dressing page as well so it's now sortable by fat free and light variations.

I updated the sorting system on the vinegar page to show types of vinegars (malt, red wine, etc). A small update but one step closer to perfectly documenting each packet.

Random eBay find! It's always so cool to find vintage packets every now and then, there are collectors of things everywhere, and for that I'm thankful!

Trying to sweeten the deal with some jams & jellies to round out that subcategory a little bit more. Enjoy the heat wave along with your reds and purples!

A big drop recently by Heinz to include a new color scheme for their Simply Heinz ketchup. Frankly it makes it easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled!

When life gives you lemons, post some fresh lemon juice packets! I love fleshing out some of the packet types that aren't the primary sauces you think of when thinking "condiment packet".

A few franchise-specific packets this week. I love that post-pandemic America has produced the need for take-out items such as this branded Benihana packet!

The heat dome remains and it's a swelter across the country. In lighter news, the gallery has surpassed 1500 packets! Many, many more to come, but a cool milestone to reach!

It's heating up across the country, time for some good old fashioned BBQ! It's cool to see some small design iterations in the A1 Sauce, easy to miss if you're not looking.

Melinda's has a great suite of sauce packets, I've added what I think is the full complement. If you see them out in the wild, definitely grab a few, the sauces are delicious and you get a good amount in each packet!

I was lucky enough to snag the oldest condiment container known to Taco Bell (from sometime in the 1970's). While it defies the criteria for this collection (no tubs, only packets), it's still worth showing off here since it shows a comprehensive catalog of the full Taco Bell suite.

I've added a few new honey packets to the collection to try to flesh that catalog out a little more. How sweet it is!

I decided to use Cinco de Mayo as a way to assess the collection as it stands, one year after launching this revamped version of the Condiment Packet gallery.

I'm so hungry, I could eat at Arby's! Decided to update some franchise collections, and Arby's was severely lacking. Notice the first two, the Arby's logo has a small "a" on the first one from 2013 and a large "A" on the second one from just a year later.

April showers bring May flowers. Some salad dressings to round out April. A few brand new, a few updated designs from packets already represented in the collection. Enjoy!

In the periphery of condiment packet collecting, there are inevitably sort-of condiment packets that I come across. Practical joke, fake spill packets, condiment-flavored candy packets, even a makeup/ketchup roulette packet! Check them all out in the novelty packet section.

MLB opening day is this week which means baseball stadiums everywhere are restocking their condiment packet stockpiles. A few ketchups and mustards this week in that spirit, but notably the two baseball stadium mustards found in ballparks around the country.

This week I've got a few hot sauces to warm you up during these last few weeks of chilly weather. Of note here, I really like the Kari-Out hot sauce's "Tear Here" logo which is oriented landscape versus the typical portrait.

Some slightly oversized packets from the backlog. While most packets are pretty standardized in size, these show an odd scaling either because of their use case as flavoring, or because the sauce is too good to only have a standard portion!

Odds and ends, from various times and places. It's fun to keep going through the backlog, randomly grabbing a few packets to catalog and seeing what variety the luck of the draw brings.

Some new, some old, some domestic, some from abroad. I'm back on cleaning, drying, and cataloging from the vast pile.

This week I went through a pile of not-so-thoroughly cleaned packets to scrub them more meticulously. Oil-based sauces tend to degrade the packet screen printing and these have some flaws on them because of it. A good reminder to keep at it!

This holiday season, Walmart had a display of sauce stocking stuffers from the folks at Kinder's. Larger than conventional sauce packets, but stylized as bottles as seen with Sriracha in the past. You'll see a sampling here, but check out all the pages to see all 9 varieties!

As we round out the year with the holidays, Red Gold was a great candidate for a refresh. There are so many iterations that the database has been lacking, and the brand is known for sprinkling in green design on an otherwise red dominated packet colorway. Happy holidays!

Some oversized dressings to clear out some space in the "to empty" pile. It reminds me that I should really make my rounds to fast food establishments and get a refresh of their salad dressings before the designs change again!

It's holiday season, hoping for snow this year! Let the landscape be as white as the creamy mayos showcased this week. I'm still amazed by the offering by Subway, seems like such an oddity for a place that prepares the sandwich to order.

Some truly generic packets from the UK. I could not find any information on the make or model of these. It's a little frustrating when trying to catalog, but I really do love these generic packets, that's the heart of the collection.

Trying to prioritize cleaning out the packets in the backlog that are highly acidic since those tend to eat through to the outter film. Got some pretty unique and niche hot sauces this week. The Bulgarian Carrot one was absolutely delicious!

An eBay acquisition and quite a rarity! This one was never on the lineup in restaurants (as the "NOT LABELED FOR RETAIL SALE" footnote suggests), but appears to have been from a Taco Bell Lunchables or a Taco Bell Dinner Kit done in the mid '90's. A fun addition to the growing collection!

Notable this week is the first representative of "hot honey" which is enjoying a lot of popularity lately. Some "Mike's Amazing" packets are also really fun to see side by side with their vibrant design.

Some odds and ends from the hot sauce realm. I particularly enjoy the two srirachas, one branded from Hello Fresh and the other as it exists in the wild. A fun example of small variations that are captured in this collection!

Easing into fall with some random packets with a late summer/early autumn color way. I didn't really know how to catalog the dressing, but went with the main text of "vinaigrette" but put "French" as a searchable item. There's always curveballs!

This week we're back with some various mayos from the backlog from all over time and space. I'm still on the hunt for Saucemerica tartar sauces, keep an eye out and drop me a line if you know of any good locations that has them available!

Adding a few tartar sauces to the collection this week. As I transfer my collection from the binder to top loader sleeves, I'm seeing some rework needed for oil-based sauces like mayo and tartar sauce. Not perfectly cleaned, they tend to leach the remaining oil which is another good reason to keep going with this endeavor: get things perfectly cleaned and preserved!

More attempts to balance out some of the collection which are weak on the auxiliary sauces, here are a variety of jams, jellies, and preserves for your consideration.

I want to showcase a pretty unique packet I found a long time ago. While Heinz was revamping their recipe, they provided free samples attached to full bottles of their mayonnaise. Seen on the left was the "not for resale" packet, the middle two shows the little envelope it came in, and the right packet shows what the packet ultimately presented as for consumers. A neat little journey!

I'll keep rolling with the Heinz train this week and try to round out a few of the inter-generational candidates. These are from just one iteration ago before Heinz went full minimalist with their keystone design. Of note, this Simply Heinz ketchup is just slightly redesigned from the initial version already featured with a beige brand bar.

Since the rollout of Heinz's "Saucemerica" campagin is in full swing, we might as well get those in the database immediately. This is such a cool idea from Heinz, I'm already getting many friends and family in on the scavenger hunt who normally only considered the hobby in passing. Keep an eye out and start your collection today!

Happy Fourth of July (to our viewers in the United States)! As we celebrate our independence day and head out to the grill, please take some time to enjoy some red, white, and blue packets to get into the spirit.

I got a little overwhelmed this week. As part of updating this website, I take the opportunity to clean a few packets, sort a few, catalog a few, etc. I have so many in the backlog, it's easy to go bug-eyed! I figured I'd try to round out some of the miscellaneous packets that aren't part of the sauce menu up top, you'll have to dive deeper in the More tab to see the full suite of sauces here in the collection.

Let's mimic the swelter that's sweeping the nation with some hot sauce & bbq sauce! Noteworthy is the first of the modern era verde Taco Bell sauce; sadly it's discontinued now, but this is the first that showcased the bright green backdrop.

A random smattering that showcases that even during slow times, there is variety still floating around in gas stations and grocery store hot food sections. Of note, a Hellmann's mayo from Israel, and a pretty unique form factor of yellow mustard from Woeber's.

June 5th is official National Ketchup Day here in the United States, so there's plenty of reason to celebrate here at the Condiment Packet Gallery. Enjoy a smattering of ketchups, including some samples from the first round of sauces from the new Heinz "Saucemerica" promotion. I do love the concept here, much like the state quarters from the US mint, this promotes collecting or at the very least it offers the opportunity to give portion control packets a second glance.

The sun is shining and we're getting some summer vibes going early; this week, enjoy a smattering of taco and hot sauces, modern era. I especially like the Tabasco branding with the two off-classic sauces. The "rich" was especially delicious, so keep an eye out for it.
